Signature Cocktail
The Fall of the House of Van Ness
Of course, you can’t go wrong with any Finger Lakes wine to pair with the book, but if you’re looking for a little more fun and flair, sip on this cocktail inspired by the Falling Leaves.
2 ounces dry riesling
1 ounce Poire William (or other pear brandy)
1/2 ounce orange curaçao
1/4 ounce honey syrup
3 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
Star anise for garnish
Add all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a star anise pod.
